Role

Designer + Campaign Art Director

Over several years, I partnered with ArtsFund to turn annual themes into flexible campaign systems for fundraising, advocacy, events, and community engagement. Each project needed a fresh visual point of view while still feeling polished, credible, and unmistakably ArtsFund.

I developed campaign concepts and carried them across print, web, email, social, signage, presentations, and annual reports. The resulting work could shift dramatically from year to year while remaining clear, cohesive, and ready to function across a wide range of formats.

Arts Elevate Campaign

For the Arts Elevate campaign, I built the visual system around upward movement. Rising lines, angled typography, vivid color, and energetic artist photography gave the theme momentum while keeping ArtsFund’s message clear and credible. The system flexed across a printed overview brochure, the ArtsFund website, email headers, donation prompts, and other digital campaign graphics.

Arts Elevate, Revisited

The following year, ArtsFund asked to return to the Arts Elevate theme with a lighter evolution of the original campaign. I kept the upward movement and angled forms, then opened up the layouts and shifted to a brighter palette. The result felt clearly connected to the first campaign while giving the new year its own energy and more flexibility across digital communications.

2026 Celebration of the Arts

For the 2026 Celebration of the Arts, I built the event identity around connection and movement. Map-like pathways, soft geometry, layered patterns, and a restrained palette created a system that felt polished, approachable, and full of momentum. The visual language extended easily across the ArtsFund website, social promotion, signage, and presentation graphics.

2024 Celebration of the Arts

For the 2024 Celebration of the Arts, I created a flexible event identity for print and digital promotion. Sweeping ribbon-like lines and layered color frame the content with a sense of movement, connection, and celebration, while the open center keeps the event details clear and easy to read. The system carried across save-the-date graphics, social promotion, and printed materials.

For ArtsFund’s 2022 Annual Report, I designed print and digital editions of a wide-ranging impact report covering grantmaking, research, advocacy, leadership, donors, and financials. The layout system had to make a large amount of information feel clear and inviting, so I paired strong hierarchy and bold section openers with expressive arts photography and generous pacing. ArtsFund later featured the report on Instagram and credited me directly for the design, a lovely reflection of the trust built through our ongoing collaboration.
